From a list of particularly talented applications, DCC has invited Dirk Koopman, G1TLH to join the Committee as High Speed Co-Ordinator, and we are please to report that, effective 01 March 1999, Dirk will be joining us as a Full Member. Initially, Dirk's brief will be to recommend a high speed (38 kbps) solution for use within the 23 cms band. The key areas of the solution will be: reproducibility, cost and scalability. Previous work carried out in this area suggests that it may be possible to have an initial (prototype) link running by the end of June 1999. Site created and maintained by Steve Morton.
