Role
The Frequecny Clearance Coordinator is a Full Member of the Committee and is appointed by the Chairman to coordinate all aspects of submissions to the Radiocommunication Agency for Freqency Clearance.


Responsibilities
  • Receive Frequency Clearance applications for coordination via RSGB HQ.
  • Circulate widely information regarding applications received, with sufficient detail to enable existing and proposed users to assess any impact upon their own operations.
  • Collate information received regarding objections to applications and prepare (where necessary) recommendations for submission to Committee meetings.
  • Submit applications which meet Radiocommunication Agency criteria and DCC guidelines to Radiocommunication Agency for clearance.
  • Montor progress of applications through the Radiocommunication Agency processes.
  • Issue Authority to Operate to applicant upon successful clearance through process.
  • Maintain a master list of those Notices of Variation issued to nodes and site cleared mailboxes, recording details of the holder and RF parameters in use.
  • Provide copies of all Notices of Variation to RSGB HQ as these are issued or amended.
  • Maintain a duplicate of the master list at RSGB HQ by ensuring monthly electronic updates are provided.
